Blonde and Brown Roux

 

 

 

 

 

1 lb             butter
3 cp            sifted flour

    -   melt butter in pan and add flour
    -   consistency should resemble
        photo above
    -   for blond roux cook on low for
        20 minutes while stirring
    -   for brown roux cook an
        additional 1 1/2 hours until color
        resembles photo above
